Executive Committee Members- Job Descriptions

Business Exchange Chairperson:

  • - Responsible for organizing and creating meeting agendas

  • - Conducting monthly meetings

  • - Requesting committee reports

  • - Communicating information and upcoming events to committee members and general Business Exchange members

  • - Facilitating communication regarding concerns of members

  • - Establishing specific benefit packages, promotional opportunities and other duties to be determined by the executive committee

 

Business Exchange Vice Chairperson:

  • - Conducting and/ or participating in monthly meetings as requested by the Chairperson

  • - Encouraging membership participation

  • - Assisting in any and all duties listed in the Chairpersons job description as designated by the Chairperson

  • - Establishing specific benefit packages, promotional opportunities and other duties to be determined by the executive committee

 

Business Exchange Secretary:

  • - Responsible for creating minutes of monthly meetings and other meetings as requested

  • - Responsible for posting minutes to the website

  • - Assisting with additional duties as requested by the Executive Chairperson

 

Business Exchange Treasurer:

  • - Responsible for keeping an accurate fiscal log of all deposits, expenditures, including donations, membership fees, event fees and others.

  • - Responsible for submitting monthly fiscal accountability report, and bank statement to committee members

  • - Responsible for providing petty cash at events as directed by the Board Chairperson

  • - Assisting with additional duties as requested by the Executive Chairperson

  • - Prepare, file, submit tax returns and audits

  • - Consider 501 C (3) as directed by Executive Committee Members
