Perry Township is conveniently located within 4 miles of State Route 21, Interstate I-77 and State Route 30. Several colleges such as Stark State, Kent State, Malone University, Walsh University and Mount Union are within close proximity of Perry Township. Stark State College is the largest among the 5 colleges in Stark County and specializes in training programs to fit the needs of local industry. We are also conveniently located 10 miles from the Akron Canton Airport and 1 hour from Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

We are proud to be the home of the “Exploration Gateway” a $12 million dollar partnership between the Stark County Library District and the Stark County Park District! The Stark Development Board is a respected resource to assist businesses with financial and economic growth opportunities. The Small Business Development Center at Kent State, Stark provides a variety of services such as, assistance with low interest loans, and the creation or revision of business plans.

The Perry Township Board of Trustees has facilitated the “Perry Township Business Exchange” which provides many of the same benefits as a Chamber of Commerce. The Business Exchange conducts periodic meetings and hosts after hours socializing events. They have also conducted fund raisers. The primary objective of the Business Exchange is to cooperatively work together to promote, support and protect the interest of all Perry Township Businesses. The Business Exchange is lead by a volunteer Executive Committee.
