The township Zoning Commission is responsible for the review of any proposed zoning map or zoning text changes. The Zoning Commission will hold a public meeting to recommend approval or modification to any proposed change and present final proposals to the Township Trustees for approval.

The Zoning Commission generally meets the 3rd Thursday of the month if there are applications to be heard.

The Zoning Commission will hold a regular meeting January 15, 2026 at the Perry Township Administration Office located at 3111 Hilton St NW, Massillon, OH 44646 to review text changes and make recommendations for updates to the township zoning resolution to be submitted to the Perry Township Trustees.
